All of these reasons are why I am obsessed with this...
My mom introduced me to these "simmer pots" a few years back. She has a big fear of me burning down my house (for good reason probably) and preferred that I not burn candles. However, because of the smelly aspects of my life mentioned above she knew that I needed something to help me out. Simmer pots use a light bulb to heat up wax tarts. No candle. Nothing to burn myself on. Super easy to switch out the smell!
