A Naan a Day Keeps the Dr Away...

After a visit last week to Tamarind Bay, an Indian restaurant in Brookline, I've become obsessed with chickpeas masala. Anything involving chickpeas is a-ok in my book, but add in some curry sauce and I'm a happy girl.

I did some searching around and found this great recipe for Chole and Naan from the same peeps at Cooking with Trader Joe's that also brought us the sunflower butter cookies. After a tough workout (hello Body Defined and Zumba!)I was looking for something spicy and super filling. Plus I was hoping to get in something easy for my work on #12 (Learn to cook 12 new meals) from the 30 While 30 list.

Meet the cast of characters:
Trader Joe's Curry Simmer Sauce, Garbanzo beans, lime juice,
red onion, and green chilies (not pictured)

The result:

No lie...this was such a good meal and so easy peasy! The curry sauce had just the right amount of spice and for less than $2 for the jar at TJs, it was perfect. With the garlic naan, this meal is on the rotation for sure.

The only thing missing from this meal is a mango lassi. Next time!
