Taking over...

I emptied out my purse tonight and realized that receipts are taking over. It isn't that I have so many of them, but rather that they are sooooo long. To just check out from the grocery store I have to walk out with 3 different pieces of paper. Why?!

Well tonight I came across an article in Shop Smart magazine all about how the length of receipts are getting out of control.

The following receipts were for between 1 to 4 items.

Sears

4 2/3 feet

(one pair of socks)

Verizon

3 feet

Banana Republic

1 1/2 feet

CVS

1 1/3 feet

Urban Outfitters

11 1/2 inches

Holy crap! Over 4 feet to tell me that I paid for an item?!

Apparently the Go Green squad has yet to find out about these receipt offenders.
